The Capital Committee is charged with formulating and implementing the 2005-2006 Capital fund raising campaign with a goal of raising $2 million for land acquisition by the end of 2006. This committee will grow in size as we add community members.

The Architectural Committee is charged with formulating the attributes of the new Hi-Liner Facility and recommending the scope and timing of the project to the board. Will serve as Architect selection committee when that process begins. Report will be made to the full board by 12/31/2005.

The DownStage Center Committee will work in concert with the Educational and Marketing committees. The DSC committee is primarily charged with formulating and executing the DSC program to enhance the overall Educational impact of the Hi-Liners.

The Education/Curriculum Committee will work in concert with the marketing and DSC committees to expand the overall educational outreach of the Hi-Liners. This committee will examine and recommend additions to the curriculum and plan additions to the curriculum.

To look for new, better and cost effective methods to communicate The Hi-Liner message to the communities of South King County. This group will work in concert with the DSC and Education committees. During productions this committee will be responsible for program advertising solicitation, flyer/mailer design and production, Large Sign Design and advertising placement. Budgets must be formulated and submitted to the Board for approval.

The Finance/Audit committee will review the finances of the company on a monthly basis, formulate audit requirements, recommend changes to policy and procedures to keep the company in line with Federal and State laws and good accounting practices. This committee will produce, with the help of our auditors the Annual report. This committee will formulate and publish the Hi-Liners Policy and Procedures Manual by the end of 2005.

The Executive Committee is comprised of the Corporate officers, the Artistic Director and a member of the Board. This committee will meet between board meetings or in the case where a quorum of the board cannot be contacted to respond to emergencies or other issues as they arise. A full report will be made of any committee actions at the next board meeting or earlier.

This committee is charged with the completion of the Strategic Plan, studying future organizational structure to implement the plan etc. Report Quarterly to the Board.
