Our 2006/2007 Class Series
Footlights
Ages 6-9
The focus in this class is on collaboration through group performance. Skills are introduced through creative play designed to promote listening, taking turns and following directions. Each semester a new theme is introduced with appropriate stories and songs.

Creative Dramatics
Ages 6-9
Students at this level are ready to give focus to other performers and take on the responsibility of working in a small group. Foundation skills of listening, taking turns and following directions are practiced in the performance of a different story each semester.

Intro to Drama
Ages 9-12
Introduction to Drama is the place to learn to make the physical
and vocal choices necessary to develop an individual character. Students will practice projecting
the voice, "cheating out" toward the audience, creating interesting stage pictures and maintaining focus.

Ensemble
Ages 13-18
Ensemble: “A cohesive group, working in harmony.” Students in this class will collaborate to improve as performers, inspiring one another to take greater risks and make bigger choices as actors. The Ensemble will be required to pursue performance opportunities in the community, and learn to conceive, design, rehearse, market and produce theatrical events from a hands-on perspective.

This is a great opportunity to learn about our upcoming productions! Hone
your Musical Theatre skills while exploring these fabulous Broadway
characters, singing their songs, learning the plot and dancing in the style
of the show. Then, strut your stuff in our off, off, off Broadway Production
of musical selections and scenes.
