Annie

It is the 1930’s and the world is in the grips of the Great Depression.
Homeless and jobless people in the big cities abandon their children in Orphanages
promising to return one day. In the depths of this despair, a little red headed
girl and her dog have the shining optimism that the world so desperately needs.
The Sun will come out "Tomorrow."
Annie opened on broadway in April 1977 and ran
for over 2100 performances. The Hi-Liners presented
Annie at the Highline Performing Arts Center in September of 2002.
